 Ranbir Kapoor is a renowned Indian Bollywood actor. He was born in Mumbai, India on 28th September 1982. Ranbir is the son of former superstars Rishi Kapoor and actress Neetu Singh. He is the grandson of famed actor and film director Raj Kapoor. Ranbir kapoor age is 33 and he  belongs to a Punjabi origin family

Son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, and grandson of actor-director Raj Kapoor, Kapoor continued filmmaking and performing at the School of Visual Arts and at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. He then helped Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the movie Black (2005) and debuted as an actor with Bhansali’s tragic novel, Saawariya (2007), a critical and commercial failure. Kapoor became known for his performances in Wake Up Sid (2009), in the romantic comedy Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009) and in the drama Rocket Singh: seller of the year (2009). His most-watched film of this period is the political drama Raajneeti (2010).


fter completing his pre-university education from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Kapoor relocated to New York City to learn film-making at the School of Visual Arts, and subsequently pursued method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. In film school, Kapoor directed and starred in two short films, entitled Passion to Love and India 1964. The loneliness of living alone in New York City coupled with his experience in film school, which he described as "useless", inspired him to pursue a career in Bollywood. Upon returning to Mumbai,


In the year 2011, Ranbir featured in the movie “Rockstar” alongside fabulous actress Nargis Fakhri. His remarkable acting earned him a Best Actor Critics award at 57th Filmfare Awards. In 2012, Ranbir starred in Anurag Basu’s movie “Barfi” opposite Ileana D’Cruz and Priyanka Chopra. Ranbir Kapoor’s most recent movies for the present year are “Besharam” Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” and “Bombay Velvet”.
